We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at BC Mental Health & Substance Use Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive health services.
Job Summary:This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to providing patient-centered care. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing education and support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct trauma-informed health care services to clients with complex mental health and substance use challenges.
- Assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive health services and coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and provide statistical information and reports as required.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Two years' recent experience providing trauma-informed acute or community health nursing care services to patients with complex mental health and substance use challenges.
- Successful completion of Occupational First Aid II (OFA II) or OFA III techniques.
