Canada Research Chair - Tier 2 Position in the Faculty of Health Sciences
Addictions Research
McMaster University is committed to fostering a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion. We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair position in the Faculty of Health Sciences, with a focus on addiction research.
The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an outstanding program of research, teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, supervise and cultivate an intellectual community of graduate students, and contribute to the Faculty's and University's commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct innovative and high-quality research in addiction, with a focus on cognitive neuroscience, behavioral science, or clinical research
- Teach and supervise graduate students in the Faculty of Health Sciences
- Develop and maintain a strong research program, with a focus on attracting and retaining excellent trainees and students
- Contribute to the Faculty's and University's commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusivity
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in a related discipline
- Excellent research and teaching skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
- Strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusivity
