Job Overview

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering SharePoint services to facilitate the deployment and management of specialized software applications for a governmental information management unit:

  • Oversee, monitor, support, and sustain the organization's information management applications, which encompass standard back-office business software, websites, SharePoint platforms, databases, and other specialized applications hosted in software development environments;
  • Administer, supervise, support, and maintain all organizational information management tools, including but not limited to databases, archives, repositories, SharePoint platforms, and storage solutions;
  • Create and update all pertinent technical documentation related to supported software applications to enhance the organization's information management;
  • Address any support requests concerning the organization's information management applications within a two-business-day timeframe;
  • Document technical issues and resolutions in an appropriate enterprise information management application to facilitate configuration control and change management processes.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years of experience in developing, designing, and maintaining SharePoint platforms;
  • Proficiency in software engineering within client/server or collaborative environments;
  • Expertise in system software management, analysis, design, modeling, and implementation;
  • Experience in software systems lifecycle management;
  • Background as a software specialist in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) for an on-site client;
  • Experience in drafting technical conceptual documents, system specifications, and technical proposals in the realm of information technology/information management or engineering (e.g., system, software, computer, communication, security, or simulation);
  • Ability to communicate IT technology frameworks and strategies to both management and technical personnel;
  • Ability to convey system engineering guidelines for projects or systems;
  • Provide technical advice, guidance, and recommendations on technical matters to assist senior management in decision-making;
  • A degree in software, computer, systems, electrical, or a relevant engineering or technical discipline.
