We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Counsel to join our team at ALT Recruitment Partners. As a Senior Counsel, you will play a key role in advising on strategy and direction for our clients in the financial services industry.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role, allowing you to work part-time from home and part-time in our downtown Toronto office. You will be reporting to the Associate General Counsel and will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on real estate law related to financial services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal advice on commercial lending, mortgage renewals, FCAC regulations, and commercial and residential real estate law
  • Collaborate with the business team to advise on strategy and direction
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial services regulations and laws

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7-10 years of experience in real estate law related to financial services
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
