Job SummaryThe Senior Legal Counsel will report to the Senior Vice President Legal, Compliance & General Counsel and play a key role in NRT Tech's continued growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate commercial law, with experience in drafting and reviewing complex agreements, as well as providing support on M&A transactions and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee a variety of corporate commercial matters, including drafting and reviewing commercial agreements with a focus on complex technology and SaaS solutions.
- Provide support on M&A transactions, assisting with gaming and payment processing regulatory compliance, and generally advising on day-to-day legal matters.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to provide legal guidance and support.
- 2-5 years of in-house or private practice experience.
- Prior experience in the highly regulated casino and/or payment processing industries will be considered an asset.
- Law degree from an accredited law school, and be a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
