About the Role

MAGNOLIA DENTAL is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality services.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Order and maintain dental and office supplies, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient work environment.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and confirming patient information.
  • Assist with dental procedures, such as preparing instruments and materials, and sterilizing equipment.
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and maintain accurate records of dental procedures.
  • Collaborate with our dental laboratory to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Develop and maintain X-rays and other diagnostic images, ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Invoice patients for dental services and maintain accurate financial records.
Requirements
  • Registration with provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a dental setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
