Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Salty's Beach House is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our guests.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our guests' needs.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our means and providing value to our guests.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our guests feel valued and respected.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Environment: Noisy and odour-filled environment, with a fast-paced work environment and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
