Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct proactive and reactive security patrols
- Oversee and support patients
- Manage conflicts and de-escalate situations
- Provide verbal and physical interventions as necessary
- Deliver outstanding customer service
- Respond to incidents promptly
- Prepare detailed reports
- Investigate routine incidents
- Enforce parking and smoking regulations
- Ensure compliance with policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Essential:
- Valid Security License for Ontario
- Current First Aid/CPR - Level C certification from an approved provider
- Minimum of 6 months experience in security
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (at least two doses)
- Immunization records for Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella, and TB Skin Tests
- Ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check during onboarding
Additional Requirements:
- Complete mandatory certifications before deployment
- Participate in onboarding training with Paladin
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility
- Maintain composure in emergency situations
- Adhere to site regulations set by both the client and Paladin
- Work independently and collaboratively to achieve objectives
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Effectively de-escalate situations verbally
- Complete end-of-shift reports and incident documentation
- Engage in ongoing training as directed
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
- Experience in customer service is beneficial
