Job Summary

The Labourer - Snow Removal is responsible for assisting with snow removal for various areas in camp. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain HNCC camp equipment to the highest possible condition.
  • Assist in all tasks related to snow removal.
  • General site clean up to ensure a high-level cleanliness of all areas outside the camp.
  • Completes activities related to manual labor, including bending, stooping, reaching, carrying, and lifting heavy objects weighing up to 45lbs.
  • Ensure all camp equipment is in good repair.
  • Load and unload materials/supplies as required.
  • Complete various maintenance and/or service tasks as required.
  • Cleans and stores tools and equipment.

Requirements

  • Fall arrest is an asset.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor.
  • Able to perform duties in warm, cold, wet, humid or dry climates on a variety of surfaces including, concrete and gravel.
