Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at Best Western Terrace Inn and Terrace Inn Liquor Store. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel and liquor store.

Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and maintain a clean environment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and appliance maintenance
  • Assist with snow and ice removal from walkways and parking areas
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens
  • Perform safety and security checks to ensure a secure environment
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
