Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rentals Consultant to join our team at Vistek. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers have a positive experience when renting equipment from us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide best-in-class service to customers, responding to their needs and ensuring that they have a positive experience when renting equipment from us.
  • Equipment Preparation: Prepare equipment orders quickly and efficiently, conducting tasks carefully and thoroughly to ensure that equipment is in good working order.
  • Front Counter Service: Create optimal rental opportunities by offering attachments and other 'up-selling' as appropriate, following up on quotes and making follow-up calls to previous customers.
  • Client Communications: Respond to phone and email customers in a timely and efficient manner, resolving their requests and needs in a thorough and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of a recognized college or university photographic or video program.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year working in an industry environment, with previous retail experience considered a definite asset.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Competent in Microsoft suite and comfortable using computerized inventory or other ERP system.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communications skills both in terms of clear conversational skills and in terms of listening/hearing the customer, and providing clear information back to the customer.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of the English language.
  • Attention to Detail: Detailed and accurate.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift 40 lbs.
