  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Repair, construct, and modify prosthetic or orthotic devices and footwear
    • Oversee and guide the work of other medical technologists or technicians
    • Assemble prosthetic and orthotic devices based on specifications, measurements, and molds
    • Plan dietary menus for individuals or groups under the guidance of a dietitian or nutritionist
    • Assist in managing staff responsible for food preparation and service
    • Process billing for third-party insurers
    • Prepare oral solutions, ointments, and creams
    • Support patients in completing dietary menus
    • Maintain medication inventories and prescription records
    • Assist dietitians in food, nutrition, and food service research
    • Clean and restore ocular prosthetics
    • Interpret specifications provided by physicians
    • Advise patients regarding depth perception issues
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage a team of 3-4 individuals
  • Background Check: Criminal record verification required
