The Pharmacy Technical Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting healthcare professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of pharmacy services. This position requires a blend of technical skills and a commitment to patient care.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
Work Environment

This role offers relocation assistance, providing a supportive transition for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in positioning patients for treatments administered by healthcare providers.
  • Repair, construct, and modify prosthetic or orthotic devices and footwear.
  • Set up and dismantle necessary equipment for various procedures.
  • Oversee and guide the activities of fellow medical technologists or technicians.
  • Apply and adjust casts, splints, and bandages as required.
  • Construct prosthetic and orthotic devices based on detailed specifications and measurements.
  • Prepare, package, and label pharmaceutical products accurately.
  • Design and produce ocular implants as needed.
  • Assist in managing scheduling and workflow within the pharmacy.
  • Maintain adequate supplies and inventory.
  • Order necessary supplies and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Support healthcare professionals in their daily tasks.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Permanent position with a commitment to excellence in service delivery.
  • Work language: English.
  • Standard working hours: 40 hours per week.
