We are seeking a dedicated Retail Operations Supervisor to oversee our retail establishment. This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 35 to 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will possess a college diploma and have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
Work EnvironmentThe successful candidate will work in a dynamic retail service environment, engaging directly with customers and managing store operations. Candidates should be open to relocation and willing to provide on-site customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor a team of 5-10 staff members, including apprentices and design teams.
- Delegate tasks to sales personnel effectively.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to enhance team performance.
- Design and implement engaging displays for various exhibitions and retail spaces.
- Manage inventory and order merchandise as needed.
- Authorize merchandise returns and establish work schedules.
- Prepare detailed reports on sales performance and staffing matters.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.
- Oversee payroll processes and conduct performance evaluations.
- Coordinate activities among team members and volunteers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, with proficiency in iOS and MS Outlook. A basic security clearance and a criminal record check are required.
