Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Queen's Coach Family Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals, managing kitchen operations, and leading a team of kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Management: Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, supplies, and equipment, to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties to the highest standards.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards and company policies.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, and a team player.
