About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Identity Management Specialist to join our team at Nova Scotia Community College. As a key member of our Cybersecurity and Identity and Access (IAM) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prioritize helpdesk tickets and operational requests related to our ERP systems, with a focus on Identity Management applications.
  • Provide functional and business analysis expertise in the planning, development, testing, and execution of Identity and Access Management system projects.
  • Engage with managed service vendor partners as required to ensure seamless system operations.
  • Participate in technical change management processes and provide technical direction to frontline support staff.
  • Author and update technical knowledge articles and system documentation to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Lead peer-to-peer orientation and training on identity management systems as required.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in information management or a related field.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of two years of recent and related occupational experience in Enterprise Applications.
  • Experience supporting and maintaining SQL, XML, and/or HTML code.
  • Experience creating and maintaining different types of end-user and technical documentation.
  • Experience coordinating work for cross-functional teams.
  • Savyint experience is considered an asset.
  • Microsoft Office power user.
  • Comfortable working in a digital environment and committed to using technology to advance work.
