About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our Group Retirement team. As a key member of our team, you will work autonomously and collaboratively with consultants and analysts to service the retirement block of our business. This includes liaising with internal, client, and carrier stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with scheduling and content creation of retirement plan governance reviews
  • Support the creation of investment reviews and market updates
  • Implement and amend programs with the insurance carrier on behalf of the client
  • Prepare for and participate in employee presentations, meetings, and benefit fairs
  • Provide ongoing support to Plan Administrators regarding the administration of their retirement plan
  • Identify revenue growth opportunities by recognizing needs for additional lines of coverage, cross-selling to P&C lines, and Wealth Management departments
Requirements
  • LLQP (Life License Qualification Program) is an asset
  • Completion of AMF examinations (Quebec) is an asset
  • Bilingual
  • Investment Knowledge is an asset
  • Typically, 4+ years of experience in the group insurance industry, specifically in group retirement services
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including business writing skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, including strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize/manage workload under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously but also collaborate well with the team
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
