Job OverviewThe Senior Manager, Direct Investments, will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing direct investment opportunities in infrastructure, electrification, and transportation sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of direct investment opportunities in infrastructure, electrification, and transportation sectors.
- Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial modeling, risk assessment, and market analysis, to support investment decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, including project developers, financial institutions, and government entities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, compliance, and operations, to ensure successful deal execution and management.
- Oversee the management of existing direct investment portfolios, monitoring performance and making recommendations for improvements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to inform investment strategies.
- Prepare and present investment proposals and reports to the senior management and investment committees.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance and value of direct investments.
- Participate in industry conferences, forums, and networking events to enhance PNYX Group's presence and identify potential investment opportunities.
- Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance on investment analysis and portfolio management.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in direct investments, project finance, or related roles within the infrastructure, electrification, and transportation sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully sourcing, evaluating, and managing direct investments.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth understanding of industry-specific trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to a broad audience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using financial software and tools, including Bloomberg, Excel, and other relevant platforms.
