About the Role

Sedgwick is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Design and Implementation
    • Design and implement cloud-based network infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical designs.
  • Network Administration and Support
    • Administer and support cloud-based network infrastructure technologies and solutions.
    • Ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of information systems through compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting
    • Identify and analyze complex network problems and implement effective solutions.
    • Take ownership of problems and proactively resolve technical issues.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies.
    • Apply technical knowledge to design and implement cost-effective solutions.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills
    • Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco switches, Meraki Switches and Wifi, Barracuda WAFs load balancers, Azure networking (LBs, vnets, peering, UDRs, service endpoints, landing zones etc, Azure vWAN, DNS
    • Extensive experience of cloud networking
    • Experience of IaaS and PaaS cloud services
    • Azure DevOps configurations and deployments of cloud networking components and devices like PAs and Barracuda WAFs
    • Windows servers 2012 – 2019, AD, Azure, Azure monitor
    • Nutanix, Nasuni storage, Commvault backup, Logic monitor, Azure monitor
  • Soft Skills
    • Experience and ability to provide training on networking concepts and technologies to team members
    • Experience of quickly understanding highly complex network topologies and being able to document them
    • Design and delivery of complex networking to support projects
