Financial Analyst

CAE is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Accounting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial reporting and analysis support to our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review financial reports for one Holding company of CAE, including accounting of transactions, reporting, and statutory financial statements.
- Participate in the month-end closing process and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Prepare HFM continuity schedules and coordinate the validation clearing process for CAE Inc. business units.
- Develop and maintain statistical reports and manage reports prepared by other departments, including coordination with Statistics Canada.
- Prepare general ledger account analysis and maintain prepaids schedules.
- Review sales taxes filing for Canada, Australia, UK, and Italy.
- Perform other related analysis and provide recommendations to management.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
- Minimum 4 years of related experience.
- CPA certification is an asset.
- Bilingual (French and English) is required.
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of Oracle R12 and HFM is an asset.
- Results-oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to find solutions and make recommendations.
- Creative thinking and ability to come up with innovative ideas.
- Good team player.
