Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting Specialist

The Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting will be responsible for the following key functions:
Participate in the company's vision, strategy, and ensure that accounting processes are followed in accordance with global business standards.
- Contribute to the annual budget process for the division, including the preparation of reports to upper management.
- Complete monthly forecasting for all financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support finance integrations of the company's growing business unit and help establish the appropriate financial infrastructure to support the business.
- Participate in the month-end close process, including the preparation of HFM journal entries.
- Provide accounting analysis support to the business units on various accounting issues.
- Prepare monthly Profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow variance analysis.
- Interact with various groups (Tax, Treasury, internal audit, corporate) to respond to ad hoc inquiries.
- Consult on new or changing business transactions to ensure proper accounting treatment consistent with global business standards.
- Ensure all standard processes and policies are applied, and all transactions are correctly recorded.
- Participate in special projects in collaboration with other teams.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with the following qualifications:
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of similar experience.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS.
- Detailed-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative and autonomy.
- Strong planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business requiring development and refinement of processes and procedures.
- Comfortable dealing with accounting and financial transactions and issues and able to provide sound recommendations.
- Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of HFM and/or Oracle system is an asset.
- Experience with M&A integrations and building financial planning and reporting infrastructure from the ground up is an asset.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Bilingual (French and English) is an asset.
