Job Title: Financial Analyst – Consolidation and Financial Reporting
About This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team, responsible for preparing and reviewing the company's monthly consolidated financial statements.
The Role
- Prepare and review the company's monthly consolidated financial statements (income statement, financial position, cash flow) for multiple entities in different countries and currencies;
- Prepare and review consolidation journal entries;
- Analyze and reconcile financial statement accounts under your responsibility;
- Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual notes to the consolidated financial statements;
- Participate in close process improvement projects and implement improvement initiatives for the Consolidation group;
- Interact with business units, corporate departments, and external auditors;
- Participate in special projects and prepare ad hoc analyses.
Requirements
- University degree and recognized accounting designation;
- Minimum 5-8 years' relevant experience in audit or financial information disclosure of a public corporation;
- Good knowledge of IFRS rules, consolidation process, and related regulatory environment;
- Meticulous, analytical, and strong critical judgement;
- Demonstrated ability in problem solving and process improvement;
- Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities;
- Excellent skills in Excel;
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in French and English;
- Knowledge of HFM and Workiva, an asset.
