Job Summary

Aon is seeking a highly skilled Marine Account Executive to join our team. As an Associate Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders and gain valuable experience in the Marine and Logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Account Executive, service existing clients' portfolios within the risk management group.
  • Identify specific client risk exposures and work with clients to develop coverage solutions.
  • Manage the client renewal process and collaborate with the client service team to ensure coverage is secured and client deliverables are met.
  • Process client requests and review documentation for routine policy changes, additions, deletions, or cancellations.
  • Prepare client service summaries and program reports, and manage client accounts receivables.
  • Assist with establishing account-specific service plans and delivery approaches that support coverage solutions.
  • Respond to client inquiries on policy coverages under the direction of the Account Executive.
  • Assist clients with interpretation of insurance clauses within contracts/agreements.
  • Explore opportunities for expanded Aon products or services with clients.
  • May work with two or more Account Executives.
  • Assist Account Executive in new business initiatives, including coordinating dissemination of marketing material and assisting in developing new business strategies and account penetration.

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years of commercial insurance experience, with Marine experience an asset.
  • Level 1 license required, Level 2 license preferred or working towards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven success working collaboratively within a team and independently with minimum supervision.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task.
  • Proven track record of prioritizing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong digital literacy and proficiency with the Microsoft Office package.
