About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Professional to join our team at Victoria Day Care Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement engaging activities for children, promoting their cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and nurturing environment, adhering to licensing regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualized care plans for children.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's progress.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a child care setting.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
