About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Professional to join our team at Peekaboo Childcare centre Beverly. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young children.

Responsibilities
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to their individual needs.
  • Engage children in activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and preparing crafts.
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining accurate records and submitting written observations on children.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children, ensuring a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Perform other related duties as required, including ordering supplies and equipment, and preparing snacks and arranging rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a child care setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Flexibility and reliability in meeting the needs of our children and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
