About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Professional to join our team at Peekaboo Childcare centre Beverly. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing, Diapering, and Feeding Infants and Toddlers: Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of our infants and toddlers by providing regular bathing, diapering, and feeding.
  • Storytelling and Creative Activities: Engage children in interactive storytelling, teach songs, and facilitate craft activities to promote cognitive development and creativity.
  • Supply Management and Record Keeping: Order necessary supplies and equipment, and assist in maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Supporting Early Childhood Educators: Collaborate with early childhood educators and supervisors to ensure the smooth operation of our childcare centre.
  • Preparing Meals and Snacks: Prepare healthy snacks and meals for our children, and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Observations and Progress Reports: Submit written observations on children's progress to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Staff Meetings and Communication: Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress, problems, and any other relevant issues.
Work Environment
  • Work Setting: Our childcare centre is a dynamic and supportive environment where you will work with a team of dedicated professionals.
  • Supervision: You will be supervised by experienced early childhood educators and supervisors.
