Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to infants and toddlers in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers
  • Engaging children in activities through storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Assisting early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
  • Preparing snacks and arranging rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submitting written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Discussing progress and problems of children at staff meetings
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a child care setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Ability to work with a team and communicate effectively
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a child care centre with a team of 5-10 people. A criminal record check and bondable status are required.

Language:

The primary language of work is English, and the successful candidate will be required to communicate effectively in this language.Work Hours:

The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week.
