About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Homewood Health Centre. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessment and treatment services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions using evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and contribute to the development of psycho-educational materials.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and services.
  • Liaise with external agencies and referral sources to provide clinical updates and facilitate aftercare as needed.
  • Write comprehensive psychological reports based on assessments and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • PhD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and licensure to practice in Ontario.
  • Experience working with adults in areas such as anxiety, mood disorders, psychosis, eating disorders, and other mental health conditions.
  • Expertise in a clinical specialty and experience in quality improvement and leadership/management.
  • Training and education in various therapeutic modalities and program development.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in assessment, treatment, and research.
  • Proven leadership skills, excellent problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to lead strategic operational changes and critical thinking.
  • Collaborative approach to patient care and ability to create productive working relationships.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills, as well as high-level organizational and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with technology, including MS Office.
