As a Psychologist at CB Canada, you will play a vital role within a multidisciplinary team, delivering comprehensive services and programs to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver psychological evaluations and therapeutic services across various programs, including Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma, Addictions, and Eating Disorders.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment methodologies.
  • Engage in quality enhancement initiatives, design therapeutic groups, and create educational materials.
  • Actively participate in interdisciplinary clinical discussions.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and referral sources to provide clinical updates and support aftercare as necessary.
  • Conduct meetings with family members or close associates of clients when clinically appropriate.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment in treatment philosophy and service delivery.
  • Prepare psychological reports based on assessments, detailing clinical findings, diagnostic insights, treatment recommendations, and implications.
  • Lead interpersonal therapy and psychodynamic group sessions.
Qualifications
  • PhD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and authorized to practice in Ontario (consideration for supervised practice credentials may be given to the right candidate).
  • Clinical experience with adult populations in anxiety and mood disorders, psychosis, eating disorders, and other mental health conditions; specialization in a clinical area is preferred.
  • Experience in quality improvement and leadership roles.
  • Training and expertise in a range of therapeutic approaches.
  • Strong knowledge in program development, administrative practices, and evaluation methods.
  • Proven skills in assessment, treatment, and research methodologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Successful experience in leading psychodynamic therapy groups.
  • Capacity to drive strategic operational changes with critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Collaborative approach to patient care within a multidisciplinary framework.
  • Ability to foster productive relationships with colleagues.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities.
  • Highly developed organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in technology, including MS Office applications.
