Position Overview
As a Psychologist at CB Canada, you will play a crucial role within a cooperative, interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing comprehensive services and programs to our clients and patients.

- Deliver psychological evaluations and therapeutic services across various programs, including Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma, Addiction, and Eating Disorders.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment methodologies.
- Engage in quality enhancement initiatives, design therapy groups, and create psycho-educational resources.
- Actively contribute to interdisciplinary clinical discussions.
- Communicate with referral sources and external agencies involved with the patient to provide clinical updates and support aftercare as necessary.
- Participate in meetings with family members or close associates of the patient as clinically appropriate.
- Collaborate and coordinate with team members to ensure alignment in program philosophy and treatment practices.
- Prepare psychological reports based on assessments that encompass clinical findings, diagnostic insights, treatment implications, and recommendations.
- Lead interpersonal therapy and psychodynamic group sessions.
- PhD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program recognized by APA or CPA.
- Registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and authorized to practice in Ontario [consideration for supervised practice credentials will be given to the right candidate].
- Clinical experience with adult populations in anxiety and mood disorders, psychosis, eating disorders, and other mental health conditions; specialization in a clinical area is preferred.
- Experience in quality improvement and leadership roles.
- Training and experience in a range of therapeutic approaches.
- Advanced knowledge in program development, administrative practices, and evaluation methods.
- Proven skills and experience in assessment, treatment, and research methodologies.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated success in leading psychodynamic therapy groups.
- Ability to drive strategic operational changes, combined with critical thinking and analytical abilities.
- Collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Capacity to foster productive working relationships with colleagues.
- Exceptional judgment and decision-making capabilities.
- Highly developed organizational and time-management skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in technology, including MS Office applications.
