Tri-Mach Group Inc. is a leading provider of innovative solutions for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Specialist to join our team of experts in custom equipment design and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop various mechanical devices, including conveyors, platforms, and other components, for use in the food and pharma industries.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and other stakeholders to ensure project success from concept to design, fabrication, and installation.
- Participate in kickoff meetings and regularly communicate project status with key stakeholders.
- Develop extensive knowledge of product lines, preferred practices, and industry standards.
- Lead and contribute to product development, product realization, and continuous improvement projects.
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner, aligning with Company values and policies.
- College Diploma or University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Minimum 3-5 years of Mechanical Design experience, preferably in a custom manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Solidworks (or similar 3D software) and AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of Solidworks PDM preferred.
- Design experience with exposure to structural and/or stainless steel products.
- Familiar with working with weldment functions, sheet metal functionality within a 3D software.
- Ideal experience working with conveyor systems and/or sanitary equipment used in the food industry.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work with engineering teammates and shop floor staff.
