About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher Assistant to join our team at LA MARQUEZA MEXICAN FOODS. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our customers and staff.
  • Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Portioning and Wrapping: Portion and wrap food items for storage and service.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
