About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as a Patient Flow Operations Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating safe and efficient patient care services within our facilities, working collaboratively with patients, families, management, staff, physicians, and community partners to achieve high-quality, safe, and cost-effective services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing or a related health discipline, with at least 3 years of experience in an acute care setting and 1-2 years of supervisory and leadership experience. You will have demonstrated leadership, planning, organization, time management, and conflict resolution skills, as well as proficiency in software programs related to bed utilization and the Patient Flow Dashboard (Tableau).

As a Patient Flow Operations Leader, you will be responsible for responding to capacity/patient flow issues, emergency response, bed management, supporting staff, and assisting with unanticipated operational issues. You will also be expected to apply strategic and analytic thinking to address challenges and achieve the ultimate goal of high-quality, safe, and cost-effective services.

About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related health discipline
  • 3 years of experience in an acute care setting, plus 1-2 years of supervisory and leadership experience
  • Demonstrated leadership, planning, organization, time management, and conflict resolution skills
  • Collaborator with demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in software programs related to bed utilization and the Patient Flow Dashboard (Tableau)
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Hours
  • Permanent, Full-Time position; 75 Hours bi-weekly
  • Shifts include days, evenings & weekends (May be required to do overnight during times of system overcrowding, not part of regular scheduled hours)
Compensation and Incentives

$53.35 Hourly
