About the Role

The Operational Performance Consultant will support the assessment, development, and implementation of performance measurement and operational analytic support tools required by Zone Operations. This position will work closely with operational and medical leaders to provide tools that enable them to examine their performance, understand the current state of operations, and plan for the future.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in analytics and a proven track record of delivering high-quality services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of health care systems and operational areas, as well as expertise in analytic tools, applications, and systems of support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing analytic support to Zone Operations to inform strategic decision-making
  • Developing and implementing performance measurement and analytic tools
  • Collaborating with operational and medical leaders to identify areas for improvement
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of performance measurement and analytic tools

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in analytics, informatics, or a health-related field
  • 5 years of relevant experience with progressive accountabilities for standards development, evaluation, and implementation
  • Knowledge and skills in analytic tools, applications, and systems of support
  • Advanced knowledge of health care systems and operational areas

Nova Scotia Health offers a competitive salary range of $36.33-$45.42 hourly, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, and a defined benefit pension plan.
