Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Super 8. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process departures, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various administrative tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide excellent customer service to our guests.
  • Special Needs: Assist guests with special needs and provide support as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, and a strong team player attitude.
