Work Environment:

Position Type: This role is based at our branch location and is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours each week.

Role Overview:

As we expand, we are introducing a new position to enhance our branch operations. The Material Handler plays a crucial role in the logistics process, overseeing the shipping, receiving, and safe movement of products while ensuring a well-organized warehouse environment. This position also involves assisting customers and sales personnel with inquiries regarding product availability and order details.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Leadership: Promote a culture of safety and lead by example.
  • Effective Communication: Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills within a team-oriented environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work independently and collaboratively to achieve team goals.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Deliver outstanding service by providing accurate product information and solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Engage in hands-on tasks while maintaining focus in a fast-paced setting, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
  • Commitment to Learning: Previous warehouse experience is beneficial, but we provide regular training to enhance skills with our advanced technology and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of high school education
  • Proficiency in computer applications and willingness to learn new software
  • Basic math skills for simple calculations
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and remain active for extended periods
  • Forklift certification
  • Inclusive and respectful team player
  • Experience in warehouse operations, particularly in shipping and receiving
