Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist II to join our Rehabilitation Services team. In this role, you will play a vital part in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life through evidence-based interventions and personalized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment goals.
- Provide a wide range of therapeutic interventions, including adaptive equipment training, activity modification, and cognitive rehabilitation.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to promote functional independence and manage their conditions.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to professional standards of practice.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Canadian school of Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
- Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
