As a Claims Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting claims and underwriting functions, providing expert advice, and contributing to the settlement of complex claims files.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement multiline claims strategies to improve company guidelines and programs
- Lead special projects to enhance claims processes and personnel
- Monitor service levels and effectiveness of claims teams
- Conduct audits of claims files to ensure compliance with company standards
- Design and deliver technical claims training programs
- Provide consultation on large and complicated claims files, including technical guidance and advice to staff
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in claims management
- Litigation experience is an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and flexibility
