IT Asset Manager

Aversan Inc is seeking a highly skilled IT Asset and Configuration Manager to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the configuration and asset management operation, ensuring that assets are uniquely identified and managed effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the configuration management process in collaboration with IT business stakeholders.
- Review and improve the Asset and Configuration Management processes on a regular basis.
- Control and manage the database, performing change evaluation and assessing the quality of requests for change (RFC) to the CMDB.
- Collaborate with change management, problem management, network management, release management, computer operations, logistics, finance, and administration functions to propose and agree interfaces.
- Develop and maintain strong subject matter expertise with IT Service Management processes, including Configuration, Change, Incident, Problem, and Release Management.
- Design and architect databases to support asset and configuration management.
Requirements:
- Relevant IT technical field and service management experience.
- Experience in leading Service Asset and Configuration Management in a challenging environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT Service Management processes and tools, including Service Now and Microsoft SCCM.
- Current experience of assets and CMDB models and methodology.
- Database design and architecture experience.
