Job Summary

Taco Boyz is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 staff members who prepare and portion food.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management as required.
  • Team Collaboration and Support
    • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
    • Support the settlement needs of newcomers and refugees, including housing, transportation, and other essential services.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Environment and Conditions
    • Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and excellent communication skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
Language and Work Hours

The primary language of work is English, and the work hours are 30 to 40 hours per week.
