We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker I to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In this role, you will be responsible for handling product throughout the picking, checking, packing, conveyor, and put-away process using RF technology and PCs in a warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a warehouse that stocks hazardous products.
* Update warehouse management and transportation management systems using remote frequency devices and computer workstations.
* Receive, put away, replenish, pick, pack, and ship orders, as well as work on conveyor.
* Follow company processes, policies, and regulatory practices, including handling of hazardous materials, transportation of dangerous goods, ISO, CGP, WHMIS, and Asbestos.
* Assist with cycle counting or physical inventory as needed.
* Work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
* Assist with special projects or other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or DC manager.

Requirements

* A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
* 1 year of general warehouse experience preferred.
* Ability to lift or lower goods up to 50lbs. to or from waist level.
* Basic computer knowledge.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Motivated, willing to learn, and able to work independently.
* Flexible with hours of work and assignment of tasks as rotation.
