Job Summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate material handling equipment in a safe and controlled manner within a warehouse environment that stocks hazardous products.
  • Utilize RF technology and computer workstations to update warehouse management and transportation management systems.
  • Receive, put away, replenish, pick, pack, and ship orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Follow company processes, policies, and regulatory practices, including handling of hazardous materials, transportation of dangerous goods, ISO, CGP, WHMIS, and Asbestos.
  • Assist with cycle counting or physical inventory as required.
  • Work efficiently in a team-oriented environment and assist with special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of general warehouse experience preferred.
  • Able to lift or lower goods up to 50lbs. to or from waist level.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Motivated, willing to learn, and able to work independently.
  • Flexible with hours of work and assignment of tasks as rotation.
