Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II to join our Customer Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will design and build software systems with a focus on performance and maintainability. You will work on highly visible technical features, collaborate with other engineering teams, and contribute to core product projects as well as experimental work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software systems with a focus on performance and maintainability
  • Work on highly visible technical features and collaborate with other engineering teams
  • Contribute to core product projects as well as experimental work
  • Participate in incident response and post-mortems, ensuring issues are resolved and learnings are applied
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience building web applications, ideally with technologies like TypeScript, and
  • Familiarity with cloud service providers, SQL databases, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with testing methodologies, including functional testing (unit, integration, UAT), automated testing, and performance/load testing
  • Knowledge of NIX environments and operating system and browser details (including processes, threads, and file systems)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Empathize with company founders and are passionate about helping entrepreneurs succeed through the creation of financial software tools and products
  • Have a strong understanding of system architecture and are able to make informed decisions regarding technical design choices
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
  • Think critically, propose innovative solutions, and drive the resolution of challenging problems
  • A passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies
