Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead the operations at Joni Restaurant, where refined elegance meets exceptional dining. This pivotal role involves overseeing the daily flow of our restaurant, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and luxurious experience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Restaurant Operations
  • Manage the restaurant while supporting other Food and Beverage outlets, including In-Room Dining and Minibar.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to maintain cohesive operations.
Leadership and Team Management
  • Lead and coach the team to achieve outstanding guest service and colleague satisfaction.
  • Ensure effective recruitment, training, development, promotion, and continuous performance reinforcement.
Revenue Growth and Cost Control
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies for revenue growth and cost control.
  • Prepare and manage the restaurant's budget, marketing plans, and objectives within approved guidelines.
Special Events and Holiday Functions
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage special events and holiday functions.
Health and Safety
  • Uphold Health and Safety standards.

Requirements

  1. Leadership Experience
  • Proven leadership experience in a luxury or fine dining environment, with a minimum of 4 years in a senior management role within a Michelin-starred or five-star establishment.
Education and Certifications
  • Smart Serve and Food Handler certifications are mandatory.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of delivering world-class service, with a strong track record of curating exceptional guest experiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge and point-of-sale systems.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in multitasking.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with proven experience managing high-performing teams.
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge, including expertise in wine, spirits, and beer.
