Job DescriptionThe Investment Operations department plays a critical role in supporting the Investment management team and other business partners. As an Associate in this department, you will be responsible for overseeing a work stream as part of new system integration.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage investment operations functions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of trade tickets and accounting entries.
- Partner with colleagues to structure, close, and fund transactions, identifying and resolving operational issues.
- Assist in the timely completion and accuracy of reports and reconciliations relating to benchmarking, portfolio holdings, and P&L.
- Contribute to the pricing and valuation validation process for principal credit, intellectual property, and structured product investments.
- Maintain effective working relationships with internal investment staff and external asset managers.
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Advanced degree or professional designation such as CFA or CAIA is considered an asset.
- Minimum 3 years direct experience in private/public credit operation.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, including attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This is an 18-month contract role in the Investment Operations department. As a subject matter expert in private investments, you will contribute to operational excellence, streamline processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
