Job Summary:
The University of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our Facilities team. As a Storekeeper, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our facilities resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the acquisition, storage, and transportation of facilities resources, including inventory management and tracking.
- Coordinate with Facilities Planners and external suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to our warehouses.
- Perform regular audits and spot checks on inventory levels, and participate in quarterly inventory counts.
- Operate USask passenger vehicles and warehouse equipment as required, and report any necessary service, maintenance, or repairs.
- Assist in reviewing inventory levels, making recommendations for changes to stock levels, and suggesting reorder points.
- Develop and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with colleagues and external partners.
Requirements:
- Three to five years of experience in a complex and dynamic multi-purpose facility or industrial operations setting.
- Relevant post-secondary education, preferably in a business or finance related field.
- Valid Province of Saskatchewan driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
- Forklift training and certification will be provided.
- A recent successful criminal record check is required.
