The University of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our Facilities team. As a Storekeeper, you will be responsible for providing exceptional logistical, operational, and administrative support for Facilities operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the acquisition, storage, and transportation of Facilities resources
  • Support the delivery of Facilities services to the campus community
  • Perform daily campus mailroom duties, including receiving and delivering mail
  • Work closely with Facilities Planners and external suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products
  • Source stocked and non-stocked items as required through various suppliers
  • Perform regular audits and spot checks on items in all warehouses
  • Ensure all relevant campus mailroom duties are performed in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

  • Three to five years of experience in a complex and dynamic multi-purpose facility or industrial operations setting
  • Relevant post-secondary education, preferably in a business or finance related field
  • Completion of a valid Red Seal Journeyperson's certificate as a Parts Technician as recognized by the Saskatchewan Department of Labour would be an asset

Working Conditions:

This position will work in an environment of continuous change, fast pace, shifting priorities, and frequent interruptions. The Storekeeper will be required to work independently and with minimal supervision, and will frequently be working in high volume situations with pressure to meet tight deadlines.
