About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Framer Helper at D&D Framing Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials from vehicles and equipment.
  • Erecting and Dismantling: Help in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mixing and Pouring: Assist in mixing and pouring materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Framing and Construction: Help in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Site Preparation: Level earth to fine grade specifications and pave and rake asphalt.
  • Demolition and Cleanup: Assist in demolishing buildings, cleaning and piling salvaged materials, removing rubble and other debris at construction sites, and tending or feeding machines or equipment used in construction.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads and working in various locations, including outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces.

Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The role requires the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Personal Qualities: We are looking for a client-focused, flexible, reliable, and team player who can work well under pressure.
