Truck Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Transport Mechanic to join our team at Oakes Truck Sales. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport trucks.
Key Responsibilities:- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
- Estimate parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems, diesel engines, and other complex components
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Collaborate with other technicians to resolve complex issues and improve overall efficiency
- Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the transportation industry
- Strong knowledge of commercial transport truck systems and components
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
