Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Transport Mechanic to join our team at Oakes Truck Sales. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with commercial transport truck systems, including engine, electrical, and hydraulic components.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Estimate and manage labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate in Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade.
  • 3-5 years of experience in heavy vehicle repair and maintenance, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial transport truck systems, including engine repair, electrical and electronic systems, and diagnostics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
